As a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM™), you will develop core competencies that will empower you to manage the future training needs of your organization.

As a CPTM, you will earn a specialized credential focused on the role of the training manager and the skills needed to manage training programs that align with your company’s business goals. You will gain new tools and abilities to demonstrate your expertise in training management and to push your career in training and development to the next level.

WHO SHOULD BECOME A CPTM?

Because CPTMs come from diverse backgrounds, there are no pre-requisite requirements for earning the credential. Many CPTM candidates are currently working as training leaders within their companies. Others are subject matter experts in a particular field who aspire to become training leaders. Still, others work as external consultants and wish to better understand their clients’ roles. Each of these backgrounds brings special areas of expertise to the management of a training organization.

What are the costs of certification?

The CPTM program is $3,495, which includes all steps of the process toward earning your certification, including access to the online pre-work modules, participation in the practicum of your choosing, and two attempts at the final exam. Upon successfully completing the exam, you will also gain access to exclusive alumni benefits that count toward your continuing education requirements, including monthly roundtable discussions with other CPTMs.
