Increasing learner engagement is a top challenge for L&D teams. Today’s employees are distracted with emails, meetings, to-do lists and balancing their home life. It is then expected that employees take time out of their workday to dedicate to training.

Join this session as Angela Backaler of Qstream provides practical solutions to break through the distractions and keep learners engaged. This session will share how, with the right engagement strategies in place, you’ll see immediate results in the application of new skills that create demonstrable business impact.

This session will share impactful drivers of employee engagement, including:

  • Personalization: Creating training that is relevant and applicable to real-life workplace scenarios.
  • Spaced Learning and Repetition: Embedding learning in the flow of work to drive productivity, increase engagement and improve knowledge retention.
  • Gamification: Adding competition to training using leaderboards, progression, ranking and recognition to increase the intrinsic motivation of learners, having them come back for more learning.
