One way to create a better learner experience is to make it accessible to all learners. In this Training Industry Leader Talk, d’Vinci’s Learning Experience Team will share their knowledge, personal experiences and ideas to help attendees create accessible eLearning from the start. They will share lessons learned from creating accessible eLearning and transitioning from being reactive to proactive — thinking about accessibility from the start of every project. They will share tips on how to create eLearning that meets web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and how they’ve incorporated accessibility into their project lifecycle.

This interactive session will provide easy-to-understand insights on:

  • The need for learning to be accessible.
  • The importance of universal design.
  • A review of WCAG standards.
  • How to apply the WCAG standards to eLearning.

Jenny Fedullo, Director, Learning Experience Design, d’Vinci Interactive

Jenny Fedullo is the director of learning experience design and leads the team to provide innovative, learner-focused solutions that improve performance. She has a passion for using engaging content and technology to make learners and clients successful. Jenny has held a number of training and development positions throughout her career and knows how training can impact an individual’s performance, a department’s results and a company’s bottom line. Jenny holds a bachelor of science in accounting and management from Lock Haven University and has numerous certifications in training management and instructional design. She is a frequent speaker at local and national ATD events.

Jenica Jones, Senior eLearning Specialist, d’Vinci Interactive

Jenica Jones brings years of instructional design and development experience to her work as d’Vinci Interactive’s senior eLearning specialist. In previous positions with large companies and government agencies, Jenica served as a training development specialist and an instructional system developer where she provided procedural and training design support. Jenica takes pride in her ability to transform complex subjects into easy-to-understand pieces of information. She holds a bachelor of science in organizational leadership from Mountain State University and a master’s degree in learning technology from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. 

Grady Shingler, Technical Project Manager, d’Vinci Interactive

Grady Shingler is the technical project manager at d’Vinci Interactive and handles Drupal programming, interactive and learning game development, quality assurance testing and technical support. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics from the University of Maryland.
