Workshop Session | Thursday, June 28 | 11:55 – 12:40 p.m.
Track: Data & Measurement
The practice of training measurement and calculating ROI has been a part of learning for many years, yet few are able to realize a practical application and show the change in business due to measuring learning. This session highlights how one organization (Allscripts) implemented a measurement and evaluation program. You will discover the many changes made within the organization due to its implementation. The session follows Allscripts’ journey through the reasons for the decision to implement, the changes made to the roles within the learning organization, and the shift in the relationship between the learning department and the business.
What will you learn?
- Discover how measuring learning programs revolutionizes learning within an organization.
- Explore how measurement changes the way the learning department accepts learning requests, how it alters the way programs are designed, and how it modifies the way programs are deployed.
- Data provides evidence of accountability and improves the relationship between the learning department and other business units.
- See how using measurable instructional design transformed subject matter experts into qualified instructional designers!
