With the future of work comes the need to continuously reskill and develop employees. With a shift towards technology, a new range of tools is here to facilitate different learning methods and augment training, from VR (virtual reality) to AR (augmented reality) to gamification. Not only does technology allow learning and development (L&D) leaders to deliver training more efficiently and quickly, modern tools are also allowing us to achieve the consumer-grade experience that each of our employees now expect when they come to work.
Your presenter, Shelley Osborne, head of learning and development at Udemy, will share the innovative ways businesses leverage technology and use game-based mechanics, aesthetics and game thinking to impact employees from day one of onboarding. Shelley will explain how to pair gamification with AR to create engaging experiences and motivate employees, leading to increased productivity and retention.
