Chicago – June 10, 2019 – On 6/3/19, GMP Labs launched its first 4-year Master Homebuilder Apprenticeship Program for disadvantaged youth and returning citizens.

GMP Labs mission is to provide disadvantaged youth the opportunity to enroll in a four-year Master Homebuilder Apprenticeship Program that will guarantee gainful Employment, foster Entrepreneurship and create Self-Sufficiency. The program takes the student from start to finish in  the process home building. Upon completion of the program the student will have Master Homebuilder status and be able to build a home from beginning to end.

GMP Labs Master Homebuilder program not only keeps Chicago’s at risk youth off the street and in a constructive and beneficial learning  environment but it also  works to reduce the recidivism rate       of returning citizens.

GMP Labs is the brainchild of GMP Development founder and CEO Steve Searles Sr. With an innate desire to give back to the community that gave so much to him,  Mr.  Searles  has  created  a  teaching mechanism that many describe as “the gift that keeps on giving.”
