BOSTON — June 9, 2020 — Illuminate, the Boston-based developer of innovative custom clinical sales training programs for the life science industry (www.illuminate.net), is expanding its headquarters. The firm, which was founded in Boston and is currently based at 477 Harrison Avenue in the city’s South End, will increase its total workspace by more than one third.

Illuminate has enjoyed steady and consistent growth since its founding in 2004. In 2015, the firm moved from a Fort Point location to its current space in the landmark Jordan Lofts building, once used by the department store Jordan Marsh as a horse stable.

“As we expand the services that we provide to the world’s leading life science firms, this expansion will support our growing team and allow us to consolidate working groups,” says Illuminate founder and president Shaun McMahon. “In addition, at a time when we must also consider the health implications of the COVID-19 pandemic, our new space, which will be custom designed to our specifications, will allow for a safer collaborative work environment.”

As the needs of the life science sales and marketing sector have evolved, so has the firm’s catalog of training platforms and educational strategies.

Illuminate’s new office is currently under construction, and the firm expects to begin occupying the new space later this summer.
