EDINBURGH, Scotland — Dec. 14, 2022 — Mind Tools has launched a new podcast which will focus on helping people meet everyday workplace challenges with confidence.
The Mind Tools Expert Voices Podcast is hosted by Jonathan Hancock, a writer and content editor at Mind Tools with 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism, and Rachel Salaman, a multimedia producer and consultant who has hosted the Mind Tools Expert Interviews series for 16 years. In each episode Jonathan and Rachel will take on a workplace hot topic, raiding the back catalogue of Mind Tools’ Expert Interviews for answers.
Mind Tools launched its Expert Interview series over 16 years ago and since then have continued to speak with the world’s leading business thinkers on topics including leadership, productivity, and motivation. Previous interview guests include leading voices such as Daniel H. Pink, Dorie Clark, and Frances X. Frei. The new podcast will curate some of the best bits from the archive of interviews to offer practical advice for dealing with workplace challenges.
“As the world of work continues to change, we want to make sure we continue to support employees with the everyday challenges they face in the workplace. The launch of our new Expert Voices podcast will allow us to share the great collection of expert interviews we’ve built over the years and help people better develop their personal wellbeing and career skills. Our mission is always to deliver the very best personal and professional development resources, and this podcast will be no different.”
Mel Dowding, Mind Tools Content Director
The first episode looks at remuneration. When is it acceptable to ask for more pay? How do you do it? And, if you’re the boss, what do you do when your people come to you asking for a raise? Listen here.
The Expert Voices podcast is the second podcast to be launched by Mind Tools. ‘The Mind Tools L&D Podcast’ which launched more than five years ago remains as a must-listen for anyone working in HR and L&D.
