SEATTLE — Aug. 23, 2021 — Panopto, the leading video management system provider in the enterprise and higher education markets, today announced that Bobby Morrison, a tenured executive leader, has joined its board of directors.

Morrison is chief revenue and sales officer of Intuit, where he is accountable for global business development, partner channels, learning and development, sales operations, global demand center, and sales across all Intuit products and services. He is currently on the advisory boards of Subsplash and Saviynt.

With over 25 years of cross-functional, operational, and commercial go-to-market experience, Morrison also served as the worldwide VP of small, medium and corporate business at Microsoft, where he grew total revenues from $15B to $25B in a little over two years. Morrison also served as the VP and head of Microsoft’s digital transformation. Earlier in Morrison’s career he served on the advisory board of DocuSign and spent 19 years at Verizon leading a variety of multibillion-dollar businesses, with responsibility for strategy, distribution, channel partners, enterprise sales, digital transformation, marketing, and overall P&L.

“There has never been a more exciting and compelling time for video than right now,” said Morrison. “Panopto’s unique ability to deliver an intelligent, easy-to-use digital video platform is unmatched in the enterprise and education markets. I’m honored to be a part of the Panopto team and look forward to helping scale and accelerate its growth.”

“I am excited to have the chance to work with and learn from Bobby,” said Eric Burns, Panopto’s CEO. “The new world of remote work and ubiquitous video has made Panopto a critical platform for companies of all sizes, and I’m confident that Bobby’s strategic experience at Intuit and beyond is the perfect complement to our ambitions and opportunity.”

Morrison’s appointment continues Panopto’s recent expansion of its board of directors, and comes as the company rapidly grows in the higher education and enterprise markets. Panopto recently received a significant investment from K1 Investment Management (“K1”), a leading investment firm focusing on high-growth enterprise software companies.
