SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Sept. 1, 2020 — Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ: CSOD), a global leader in people development solutions, today announced it has hired Noel Hornsberry as Senior Director of Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). In this new role, Hornsberry will drive the company’s DEI strategy forward by introducing new programs for building an inclusive workplace environment and ensuring the entire Cornerstone team is doing its part to contribute to lasting, cultural change.

As a seasoned leader in the DEI space, Hornsberry brings over 15 years of experience driving DEI strategy at some of the world’s largest organizations, including Kellogg Company and U.S. Cellular. At Cornerstone, he will head up the Diversity Leadership Council to evaluate the company’s people practices and partner closely with leaders across the organization to reshape programs and foster more communication. Additionally, Hornsberry will drive DEI excellence by leading the company’s new Cornerstar Resource Groups (CRGs), a collection of online communities where Cornerstone employees can virtually and productively congregate, discuss and voice their concerns.

“Over the past few months, it has become increasingly clear how every organization has a role in creating social equity and is responsible for driving positive change,” said Phil Saunders, CEO of Cornerstone. “Hiring Noel is an important step in our social equity journey. With his experience and guidance, we can revamp our DEI initiatives and help shape a more inclusive world.”
