Clackamas, OR – November 18, 2019 – Dr. Tim Rahschulte, CEO of the Professional Development Academy, has identified a growing and persistent problem in today’s corporate reality – a lack of adequate leadership training for frontline managers. Rahschulte has come up with a solution to close what he calls “the leadership development gap.”
“Through our research with 3,000 enterprise leaders, we learned that nearly every executive has a myriad of mid- to entry-level managers who need leadership development,” explains Rahschulte. “But CEOs don’t have the time to develop those managers, and that affects the company’s success rate and its bottom line”.
To address the problem, Rahschulte collaborated with Bob Dethlefs and founded the Professional Development Academy – an online leadership program that provides real-time mentorship and training to frontline managers. Partnering with such leadership luminaries as General Colin Powell and Executive Coach Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, Rahschulte and his team have created online classes that address positive leadership, change management, negotiations, team-building and effective communication.
To teach content of each leadership lesson, he’s brought in Fortune 1000 CEOs, highly successful entrepreneurs and distinguished professors from some of the top universities in the nation. Although participants learn online, they’re never alone. All are part of breakout groups for peer-based learning and best practice sharing, which also increases leaders’ network of peers.
Rahschulte and his team have pinpointed three essential components necessary to maximize results for Academy participants: access, relevance and efficiency. Participants have access to top industry executives, coaches, CEOs and faculty. The courses are relevant to what’s happening in corporate America today, and they’re efficient in the delivery of rich content in short but powerful learning bursts.
Academy programs also offer peer interaction, one-on-one mentoring, and practical skill-building techniques. Every course is designed to accommodate the hectic schedules of managers running the day-to-day activities of companies – meeting them where they are without disrupting the flow of their daily workload. This allows for the fastest return on learning possible.
Rahschulte’s Professional Development Academy has helped managers from such highly respected companies as 7-Eleven, Aflac, Amgen, Bosch, Carnival, CBRE, ConEdison, FedEx, Ford, The Gap, General Mills, Harley Davidson, Hewlett Park, NBC Universal, Michelin, Walt Disney, Toyota, Visa and Vanguard.
