Lucerne – April 30, 2019 – getAbstract, the world’s largest library of compressed knowledge, has entered into a new partnership with Swiss International Airlines (SWISS). Starting May 1, 2019, guests of SWISS will be able to access selected German and English abstracts in audio format—free of charge—in the in-flight entertainment program. Every three months, getAbstract will update the program with new titles.
getAbstract offers reading and audio material and reviews in short format, providing summaries of more than 18,000 books, articles, Ted Talks and more. SWISS travelers will have the selection between specialized audio content in economics, sales and marketing, technology, science, psychology, business, time management, communication, as well as world best sellers, like “Homo Deus” by Yuval Noah Harari.
“Interested readers can excel with the help of our summaries that provide the contents of a book in the shortest amount of time. The audio summaries are ideal for on-the-go use and are an informative and productive way to pass the time, especially for business travelers with a tight time budget,” said Thomas Bergen, CEO of getAbstract.
“With the audio abstracts, we are supplementing our in-flight entertainment offering with an innovative option that meets the growing demand for spoke audio content,” said Christine Ringger, manager of SWISS’ in-flight entertainment program.
