LONDON — Oct. 22, 2026 — VinciWorks, a leader in compliance e-learning and software, today added Learning Plan Builder to its Client Portal. The new feature turns the courses within an organization’s existing license into a structured training plan, mapped by year, topic and course, so compliance and learning and development teams can move from a course library to a ready-to-launch program in minutes.

Learning Plan Builder builds on a series of Portal upgrades launched earlier in June 2026, introducing Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing to connect training content, delivery and measurement on a single platform. Learning Plan Builder adds planning to that picture, helping organizations decide what to cover and when before training goes live.

Licensing the right courses is only part of the job. Administrators are often left asking where to start, which courses matter most and how much training staff can realistically take on in a year without becoming overwhelmed.

Rising Regulatory Pressure

The launch lands as regulatory pressure builds across sectors. From Oct. 30, 2026, the Employment Rights Act 2025 requires UK employers to take “all reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment, extending the existing duty to cover third parties such as customers and members of the public. Higher education providers face a related duty already in force: The Office for Students’ (OfS) Condition E6 has required universities to provide mandatory training on harassment and sexual misconduct for students and for staff who handle disclosures and investigations. Law firms are under similar scrutiny: The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) nearly doubled its anti-money laundering inspections in 2026, carrying out more than 900 proactive engagements and issuing fines totaling over £565,000, repeatedly linking manual, ad hoc compliance processes to the firms most likely to fall short.

“L&D and compliance teams usually know the topics they need to train on, like bribery, data protection or sexual harassment. The harder part has always been choosing which courses to use, and how to spread them over time, by hand. Organisations can feel overwhelmed about where to start,” said Inna Goldshteyn, instructional designer at VinciWorks. “We built the Learning Plan Builder to take that manual work off their plate. It turns the courses an organisation already has into a structured plan in minutes, which teams can then fine-tune to fit. Training gets delivered with real intent, rather than rushed before an audit.”

A short, guided wizard captures an organization’s goals and priorities. Administrators choose a one-off plan or an annual plan spanning up to three years, select the topics they want to cover and set their training capacity. Learning Plan Builder then recommends the most relevant courses from the organization’s license, tailored to its jurisdiction and priorities, with no course repeated across the plan.

Every plan is a starting point. Administrators can review and adjust it in full: swapping, adding or removing courses, delaying a course or locking it until a prerequisite is complete, then download the plan as a CSV or PDF file to share with stakeholders.

“When I built our learning pathway, I had to put it into an Excel spreadsheet for stakeholders to review. That took quite a bit of time, and it never looked as polished as I’d have liked. With this tool, the pathway is presented in a much more professional way, and the information is much clearer and easier to follow. I really like that it generates a plan around the topics I need, while still giving me the flexibility to make changes. It saves me a lot of time and makes the whole process much more straightforward,” commented Charlotte Pearce, learning and development business support co-ordinator at Conexus Healthcare.

“Clients kept telling us the same thing: they had the right courses, but no clear way to turn them into a plan,” said Alyssa Redsun, head of product (courses) at VinciWorks. “Learning Plan Builder is our answer to that. It sits alongside Insights, Assignments and AI Enhanced Editing as part of a Portal that now covers everything from planning a training programme to proving it worked.”

Learning Plan Builder is available now to all VinciWorks Portal clients at no additional cost, continuing the company’s shift from a course library with reporting attached to a complete training management ecosystem covering planning, delivery, customization and measurement.
