POTOMAC, Md. — Sept. 29, 2026 — WILL Interactive, the pioneer in interactive scenario-based learning, announces the release of Common Ground Business 3 (CGB3), the newest movie in its award-winning sexual harassment prevention series. CGB3 depicts an internationally flavored workplace that exposes learners to real interpersonal dilemmas that companies face today.

“The gap between what people say they would do and what they actually do in real life is where disasters live,” said Sharon Sloane, CEO of WILL Interactive. “CGB3 combines three decades of proven behavior change, WILL’s signature storytelling and contemporary dilemmas to mitigate risks in today’s workplace.”

A Series Proven to Change Behavior

CGB is not new and not untested. An analysis of thousands of employees at a global technology organization measured Common Ground Business before and after training against knowledge, attitude and behavioral intent, not just completion rates. After training:

  • 22% more correctly understood that supervisors are required to report unlawful harassment.
  • 22% more recognized that truthful reporting of harassment strengthens teamwork.
  • 10% more felt empowered and confident that they have the right and ability to speak up.
  • 5% more would intervene and report harassment involving a coworker.
  • 88.6% agreed the training helped them better understand harassment and how to respond.

Prior versions of Common Ground Business reached more than 5 million learners worldwide and earned multiple industry awards, including Davey, Communicator, Horizon Interactive, W3 and Viddy honors.

A New Workplace. New Characters. New Challenges.

Developed in response to customer requests for fresh stories based on real events, CGB3 emphasizes:

  • Intercultural communication: How differences in cultural norms are misread as insensitivity or used to excuse genuine misconduct.
  • Tactful feedback: The fine line between direct, honest feedback and language that lands as demeaning or biased.
  • Retaliation and team conflict: The subtler forms retaliation takes after someone reports: quiet exclusion from projects, being passed over and being frozen out socially.
  • The misuse of AI: Bias-driven harassment in which AI is used to alter an employee’s appearance.
  • Regional and cultural bias: Assumptions about where colleagues are from and how those quietly shape who gets heard, promoted or believed.

“Customers said they wanted new stories that go beyond the familiar scenarios,” said Jeff Hall, chief creative officer. “CGB3 gives learners a new workplace and cast of characters while retaining the interactive storytelling that has made prior Common Ground versions the gold standards in proven effectiveness.”

With more than 50% of employees reporting having experienced or witnessed workplace harassment or misconduct, younger workers are affected at higher rates. Most incidents may still go unreported, which reinforces the need for training that changes behavior rather than checks a box.
