Learning Object

Learning Objects refer to micro elements of intelligent information, or ‘single chunks’ of learning content, which combined with other objects can form a useful learning experience. Learning objects generally refer to electronic files that can be stored in an Object Repository, or Knowledge Repository, for on-demand access by instructional designers, instructors or students. Objects may be videos, charts, photographs, graphs, images, infographics, articles, research, case studies, wiki posts, blogs, etc. Also see Experience API.
