Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

An employee assistance program (EAP) is a confidential service that employers may offer as a part of their employee benefits package. EAPs give employees access to physical and mental health resources for work- and non-work-related challenges, such as stress and burnout, substance abuse, divorce and domestic violence, mental health, grief, wellness and nutrition, and more. The coronavirus pandemic has placed a heightened demand on employers to support their employees both inside and outside of the workplace, leading many to look to EAPs for assistance.
