Education is the process by which an individual or group of people conveys, transfers or obtains knowledge about a subject or concept. Education often refers to the academic institution that provides or manages knowledge based processes. The terms education, learning and training are often used interchangeably, although each have different meanings and applications. See also Learning and Training.
Example: Although public school systems now require middle school students to attend sex education, under no circumstance would school systems ever allow students to attend sex training.
