Digital Object Repository

Digital object repositories (DORs) are online databases that provide a central location to manage, collect, contribute and share digital resources. DORs enable centralized hosting of and access to content; the ability to share digital objects and files and set permissions and controls for content; and protect the integrity and intellectual property rights of content owners and creators. DORs are also referred to as digital learning repositories (DLRs).
