Digital Learning Repository

A digital learning repository (DLR) is an online database that provides a central location to collect, contribute and share digital learning resources for instructional design and content development. DLRs provide centralized hosting of and access to content; the ability to share digital objects and files and set permissions and controls for content; and protect the integrity and intellectual property rights of content owners and creators. A DLRs are also referred to as digital object repositories (DORs).
