Continuing Education

Continuing education is primarily a North American term that refers to a broad range of post-secondary learning programs. It typically occurs after undergraduate college or university and may include degree and non-degree workforce training, such as informal training, career or personal development courses, and experiential learning. Generally, continuing education does not include trade skills, vocational training related to manual labor, general educational development (GED) or English as a second language (ESL) programs.
