Elizabeth Fisher4 out of 5 I enjoyed the course and it tied well to everything I had read online about competency modeling. I appreciated that the course materials went through the many steps involved in the process and provided a nice template to follow. I was hoping for more in depth looks at best practices for how to assess employees and use the assessment in career development conversations.2/16/2024
Scott Nutter3 out of 5 The instructor was excellent. I felt she did the best she could with the material she was given. That said, the course does not present a Competency Modeling framework for practical use. The 8-hour course focused on broad basic steps to take when undertaking the significant task of creating a Competency Model from scratch. I was hoping to see a Competency Modeling framework that we would use throughout the course. Instead, the “it depends on your circumstance” message was repeated often. If someone is a complete novice regarding competency modeling, this reasonably-prices course is a good value.2/16/2024
