ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Aug. 3, 2026 — In May, iSpring put an AI course generator inside iSpring LMS and iSpring Cloud AI. Those drafts arrive as scrollable courses edited in the browser. The format that was missing is the one built in PowerPoint: the slide course, narrated and published as a package.
That gap has now closed. iSpring Suite AI generates slide course drafts from a course description and whatever documents the author already has on the shared drive: a product manual, an old deck from a colleague who left last year or process notes nobody has opened since the last audit.
What Lands in PowerPoint
The draft is a presentation built slide by slide. It opens with a title slide, runs through content slides broken up by section dividers and finishes with a closing slide. Every slide carries a heading, the text that sits on it, a stated learning purpose and a written description of an illustration that would suit the point being made.
Authors choose at the settings stage whether AI writes voice-over text. Ask for it, and the narration goes into the speaker notes, with less text left on the slides themselves. Turn it off, and more of the content sits on the slide. The choice matters more here than it does for browser-based content: A slide course is often watched rather than read.
The Outline Is Where Authors Take Control
Before any slides are built, AI proposes the course parameters, including the goal, the audience, the learning objectives and a writing style. Each is editable. The outline follows, and modules can be rewritten, reordered, duplicated or cut. An author who prefers to steer with a prompt can describe the change and generate a fresh version.
The outline also prints to PDF. A stakeholder can sign off on a structure while the course exists only as a plan, which is a familiar saving for anyone who has rebuilt a finished deck after a late round of feedback.
Because the outline is stored inside the presentation file, it can be reopened from the iSpring Suite tab and run again later. A regenerated draft either replaces the current slides or opens as a separate presentation, so two treatments of the same structure can sit side by side.
What comes out is a draft, and iSpring is direct about that. Interactions, quizzes and visual design remain the author’s work. The quality of the finished course still rests on the review that follows. What changes is who can make a credible start: A subject matter expert who writes training twice a year or a team facing a dozen courses and one deadline now begins with a structure to argue with rather than a blank slide.
