BOSTON — June 23, 2026 — Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, today announced a new partnership with Coursera, a leading global online learning platform, to expand the access of globally recognized training courses from Scrum.org to Coursera learners. The first offering of this partnership is the new Professional Scrum Product Ownership Specialization available on the Coursera platform. The Scrum.org training courses included in this Specialization are: Professional Scrum Product Owner Fundamentals, Professional Scrum Product Backlog Management Skills and Effective Stakeholder Collaboration for Scrum Teams.

Professional Scrum Product Owner Fundamentals
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Scrum framework and explores all facets of the Product Owner role, including accountabilities and relationships with the Scrum Team, stakeholders, and the broader organization. Participants discover how to effectively set and drive product vision, strategy, and goals. By studying real-world scenarios, common pitfalls, and concrete practices, learners explore how to balance vision, value, and validation to leverage the Scrum framework and deliver highly valuable products.
Professional Scrum Product Backlog Management Skills
This course provides practical techniques and methods for creating, refining, and ordering a Product Backlog that makes transparent what is most valuable for the Scrum Team to work on. Participants learn how to connect Product Goals to the work being done, engage stakeholders effectively, and use empiricism as a competitive advantage. The course also explores how AI can complement modern Product Backlog management practices.
Effective Stakeholder Collaboration for Scrum Teams
This course goes beyond the mechanics of Scrum to focus on the human-centered skills, mindsets, and techniques needed to build trust, alignment, and shared ownership with stakeholders. Participants learn how to identify and engage the right stakeholders, build empathy, and navigate conflict, with Scrum as the engine driving collaboration and value delivery.
